Hello, I’m Pravin Kumar

A Cloud DevOps Engineer who lives in the terminal.

What I do (and enjoy doing):

  • Playing around with Linux (yes, I distro hop — a lot)
  • Automating repetitive stuff (mostly with Bash & Python)
  • Building things in the cloud — and breaking them to learn more
  • Containerizing everything that moves
  • Writing infra as code, configs as code, code as code, and recently … OS as code
  • Tinkering with homelab setups
  • Living that VIM life

Always learning. Always building. Often debugging.

If you are into IT, you must have heard of it. Most people know Vim as a terminal-based text editor. Some use it in a very basic flow: open Vim, switch to insert mode, write content, and then write & quit (:wq). And yes — that is correct.

But Vim is much more than that.

I’m here to share the true potential of Vim (and Vi / Neovim): from basic to advanced features, and how you can extend Vim’s philosophy to run your entire PC using Vim and Vim keybindings.
